April Moore served 26 years as a Board Member and Chair of Chapa-De Indian Health before passing away in 2015.
Chapa-De Indian Health is very proud to support education for local American Indian/Alaska Native students. One way that we do this is through our annual April Moore Memorial Scholarship Program. The application is now open for the 2024-2025 school year.

Each year, Chapa-De Indian Health is honored to award a $1,000 scholarship in memory of April Moore, a dear friend who served as our Board President for many years.
Auburn, CA – Two local students, Rochelle Mercado a graduate of CORE Charter High School and Tani Thomsen a graduate of Placer High School, have been selected to each receive a $1,000 scholarship through the April Moore Memorial Scholarship Program.
