Overview Of Available Services

At both of our community health centers, we offer excellent dental care. Our dental department is very popular and there is often a waiting list for appointments. We offer the following services:

  • Diagnostic Exams
  • Oral Hygiene Instruction
  • Dental Prophylaxis (cleaning)
  • Digital X-Rays
  • Restorative Care (fillings)
  • Dental Appliances (crowns, bridges, dentures)
  • Limited Root Canals
  • Limited Oral Surgery
  • Fluoride Treatments
  • Orthodontia (in Auburn only)

In the event you require additional services, we will refer you to an outside dental specialist.

 

How To Schedule An Appointment

We want to make your experience in our health centers as comfortable and convenient as possible. Therefore, we want you to have an appointment to be seen. Please call us to schedule an appointment. We cannot guarantee that you will be seen if you walk-in without an appointment.

To schedule an appointment call 530-887-2830 for Auburn or 530-477-9560 for Grass Valley.

We do reserve a few urgent appointments per day for patients who have severe pain, infection or swelling. The urgent problem is the only thing addressed at an urgent visit. Please call us to book an urgent appointment.

 

Preparing For Your Visit

All new patients must register before their first appointment, please see How to Register. New patients should arrive at the reception desk 30 minutes before your first appointment to complete the new patient registration process. Established patients should arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time.

You will need to bring the following items to all of your appointments:

  • Photo ID
  • All insurance cards (Medi-Cal, Medicare or other medical, prescription or dental insurance).
  • A list of medication you are taking or bring the medications with you.
  • The patient services representative making your appointment will also inform you of any records or information you need to bring with you.

 

Cancellation, Late & No-Show Information

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment please call us. When patients do not cancel their appointment, they deny other patients the opportunity to book that visit. We keep track of the number of “no-show” appointments a patient accumulates and patients who repeatedly miss their appointments may lose the privilege of making appointments at our community health centers.

 

After Hours and Holidays

Important: If you think you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital immediately.

Chapa-De patients who experience a dental emergency when our health centers are closed, can still contact us for help!

If our clinic is not open, our answering service can have an after hours Advice Dentist return your call.
