Winter Wellness
Chapa-De Indian Health Auburn Grass Valley | Medical Clinic
Winter is here and we have already seen snow in many parts of our community! With a new season, comes a new collection of ways to stay happy and healthy. Colder weather causes changes to the environment. But it can also cause changes to your health and mood.
Where to Access Resources
The best way to encourage your wellness this winter, is to make sure your needs are met. If you are in need this winter season, there are many places to find resources. From food access, to housing support, you do not have to struggle alone.
To search for resources in your community, we recommend 211. 211 is a county-based resource for finding different types of aid.

Disaster Preparedness
The best way to reduce your risk during an emergency is to be prepared! During the cold and rainy season, there is an increased risk of disasters such as severe weather, extreme cold, and floods. Watches, warnings and advisories for the weather in each county can be found on the National Weather Service website at: https://alerts.weather.gov/cap/ca.php?x=3.
