Telehealth Services at Chapa-De
Chapa-De Indian Health Auburn Grass Valley | Medical Clinic
Telehealth has been a vital tool in providing access to healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic. It allowed many patients to visit with their Chapa-De physicians and specialists from the comfort of their own homes. Telehealth has helped reduce unnecessary exposure to COVID-19 while ensuring patients still have access to quality care.
A Telehealth appointment is similar to a video call that you would have with a family member or friend. You can use your mobile phone, tablet, or computer as long as it has a webcam, a microphone, and speakers. Telehealth makes it possible for you to have a virtual face-to-face conversation while maintaining COVID-19 precautions to protect you and your provider.
There are many types of visits that can be done through Telehealth, including:
- Care for Chronic Conditions
- Sick Visits
- Wellness and Health Maintenance Visits
- Medication Management Visits
- Therapy Sessions
- And much more!
Some of the many different group classes at Chapa-De are also being offered through Telehealth. We want to make sure our patients still have access to the care they need, and Telehealth makes that possible during the pandemic. Visit our group class calendar to find a class that’s right for you: Click Here.
Is Telehealth Right for You?
Not all visits can be done through Telehealth, but a helpful Chapa-De staff member can help you determine if it’s right for you. They can also help you prepare for the appointment and explain how it works.
