Telehealth has been a vital tool in providing access to healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic. It allowed many patients to visit with their Chapa-De physicians and specialists from the comfort of their own homes. Telehealth has helped reduce unnecessary exposure to COVID-19 while ensuring patients still have access to quality care.
Telehealth Services
A Telehealth appointment is similar to a video call that you would have with a family member or friend. You can use your mobile phone, tablet, or computer as long as it has a webcam, a microphone, and speakers. Telehealth makes it possible for you to have a virtual face-to-face conversation while maintaining COVID-19 precautions to protect you and your provider.
There are many types of visits that can be done through Telehealth, including:
- Care for Chronic Conditions
- Sick Visits
- Wellness and Health Maintenance Visits
- Medication Management Visits
- Therapy Sessions

Is Telehealth Right for You?
Not all visits can be done through Telehealth, but a helpful Chapa-De staff member can help you determine if it’s right for you. They can also help you prepare for the appointment and explain how it works.
