This week is all about recognizing the service of volunteers everywhere. The power of volunteers to join forces and better communities nationwide is unparalleled. Celebrate the impressive contributions of volunteers with us this week.

What is a volunteer?

A volunteer is someone who does work for a company or organization without pay. When you volunteer, you donate your time and work to this company or organization.

Volunteering often greatly benefits the volunteer and the community or individuals they serve. Whether it is helping to serve food at a soup kitchen or joining an organization that helps build better homes, there is no better way to spend your time than donating it to a worthwhile cause.

Chapa-De works with various organizations and non-profits to give back to the community in many ways. This includes providing free dental screenings at area elementary schools, preschools, childcare facilities and WIC offices. Chapa-De also provides free health screenings at many community events throughout the year. In both Auburn and Grass Valley, Chapa-De employees are also delighted to participate in activities like food drives and the Angel Tree Program to help spread holiday cheer to those in need.
