Ingredients:
- whole wheat flour – 2 cups
- brown sugar substitute – 1/3 cup
- baking soda – 1 tsp
- baking powder – 1/2 tsp
- salt – 1/2 tsp
- ground cinnamon – 1 tsp
- ground ginger – 1 tsp
- ground nutmeg – 1/2 tsp
- ground cloves – 1/4 tsp
- unsweetened applesauce – 1/2 cup
- maple syrup – 1/3 cup
- vegetable oil – 1/4 cup
- fresh ginger (grated) – 2 tbsp
- eggs – 2 large
- vanilla extract – 1 tsp
- water (hot) – 1 cup
