The Importance of Routine Check-Ups
Chapa-De Indian Health Auburn Grass Valley | Medical Clinic
The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted many parts of our lives for over a year now. As we take time to reflect on all that has changed for each of us, we want to remind everyone that doing whatever normal activities you can is very important. This includes routine and annual health care services. We want to encourage our patients to schedule the care appointments they need, including routine check-ups.
Routine Check-Ups
Studies have shown that people with pre-existing conditions are more likely to have serious side effects from COVID-19. Due to this, it is very important to prioritize your health. Routine check-ups are a great way to maintain and improve your overall health.
Routine check-ups are helpful for many reasons. They can help with:
- Early detection of new health concerns
- Preventative care
- Care for existing conditions
Visits may look a little different due to COVID-19. However, we are working hard to create a safe environment.
How Chapa-De is Keeping You Safe
We know that many people may feel anxious about visiting our health centers right now. We want to assure you that our patients and staff’s health and safety are our top priority. We have added many precautions to help protect everyone. These include:
- Health screenings when scheduling an appointment and upon arrival to the health center
- Face covers are mandatory for all patients, visitors, and staff
- Cleaning and disinfecting protocols have been increased
- COVID-19 testing at our drive-thru testing site
- Appointments are scheduled as telehealth visits when possible
Now is not the time to put your health on hold. Give us a call today to schedule a routine check-up with your provider.
