Going to the doctor can be stressful. Sometimes it can be hard to understand medical talk and even harder to understand how to pay for your appointments, medications and treatments. Having someone at a health clinic that understands how to help people navigate things like Medi-Cal insurance coverage and other available programs, and who can speak your native language, can make your doctor’s office experience much easier.
Chapa-De is proud to offer bilingual (Spanish and English) eligibility services to all our patients. Our Eligibility Specialist, Gilbert Riojas, is dedicated to helping you find the right programs and benefits that can make your healthcare more affordable.
It is Gilbert’s mission to advance the health and well-being of you and your family while helping you become qualified for full-scope Medi-Cal coverage. Full-Scope Medi-Cal means access to FREE or low-cost preventative services such as annual check-ups. You are provided with coverage for medical, dental, mental health and vision care – all services offered at Chapa-De Health Centers.
Gilbert is always there to help those in need and has been recognized by the Latino Leadership Council in Placer County for his outstanding relationships with and the help he provides to their clients.
