The 2020 Census is here! Starting in mid-March, homes were invited to respond to the 2020 Census. Each home should have received official Census Bureau mail with detailed information on how to respond. There is a lot of uncertainty in the world during the COVID-19 outbreak. However, responding to the 2020 Census is very important.
How to Respond?
You can respond to the 2020 Census in a few ways. Each way can be done from your home while practicing social distancing:
- Online – visit: https://my2020census.gov/
- By Phone (English) – call: (844) 330-2020
- By Phone (additional languages) – visit: https://2020census.gov/en/languages.html
- By Mail – via official mail questionnaire
Does It Matter if I Respond?
Yes! The census only occurs once every ten years. The responses have a variety of effects locally and nationally. Check out our post “Census 2020 – Why It Matters” for more information about the importance of responding to the 2020 Census!
