September is National Recovery Month! It is also a time to look back and see how far you have come. No matter if you have just received your 10-year chip or are even just starting on your recovery journey, it is time to celebrate the strength and resilience it took to get here.

If you would like a helping hand while on the path to recovery, we are here with services and resources to aid your journey.

Groups and Classes

In recovery, knowing that you aren’t alone is important. Group sessions are where people who are on similar journeys can come together with support and share experiences. Chapa-De hosts groups and classes at both our Auburn and Grass Valley health centers. Check Chapa-De Class Calendar to see when the next group or class works best for you. Some groups may require an initial appointment before starting. Please call 530-887-2800 to get established.

A Recovery Story

“The first time I came to Chapa-De, I was amazed. Even though at the time I was a homeless addict, my doctor treated me with dignity, respect, and kindness. It was through the help of Chapa-De that I was able to get the help I needed. I now am clean and sober, have an apartment, and have over 2 years of the best medical care I could have asked for at Chapa-De. The acceptance and kindness got me through the darkest times.”
