"All the approved COVID vaccines in the US are incredibly effective - over 99% at preventing you from getting hospitalized or dying from COVID. All are also really good at preventing you from catching COVID and it seems to be good now at preventing you from spreading COVID to other people. For all those reasons, for the grand majority of my patients, it's absolutely the right idea to get vaccinated as soon as possible. There are some differences between the vaccines, if you aren't sure which one is right for you or if you want to talk about them more, I'm happy to have a conversation with you over the phone or through the portal, whichever is easier for you."
