About Me: I am a Physician at Chapa-De Grass Valley. My approach to care involves every member of the patients medical team, focused first and foremost on the patient. I believe every patient needs a primary care provider. I want my patients to be their own largest advocate and to understand their medical diagnosis and history. I am passionate about improving physician to physician communication to improve patient outcomes with a particular focus on inpatient and outpatient provider communication. I enjoy seeing patients of all ages and I believe movement is medicine. I went to medical school at the University of Central Florida. I completed my residency at the Dignity Health Methodist Hospital of Sacramento Family Medicine Residency where I was a chief resident. Outside of clinic, I am active in graduate medical education, trail running, being a proud father to an energetic daughter and son and exploring our Sierra foothills.
