About Me: I am the Medical Director and a Physician at Chapa-De Indian Health. I strive to provide compassionate, high quality care to every patient. I do this by looking at the whole person and getting to know each patient individually. This includes understanding each patient’s physical, behavioral, dental, and vision health and it also includes understanding the social factors that influence their health. This is something I do with my patients and I also work with our full team to ensure all Chapa-De patients receive this type of care.
My professional interests include Prenatal Care, Pediatrics, and Substance Use services. I graduated from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. My residency type was Family and Community Medicine. It was completed at University of California, Davis. I have done a psychiatry fellowship in primary care. I am board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. I am also board certified in Addiction Medicine. I have a master’s degree in public health.
I am a mother, a violaist, a pilot, and an advocate.
