About Me: I am a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Chapa-De Indian Health in Auburn. I completed my undergraduate degree in Nursing at Humboldt State University where I got my training as a Holistic Nurse. I attended Sonoma State University where I completed my master’s degree in Nursing. Upon graduation I worked as a Urology Nurse Practitioner for two years. In 2013 I started working in Family Practice at Chapa-De Indian Health where my true love is.
I work with patients with a variety of backgrounds, concerns, and goals to improve their quality of life. I use Palliative Care and Holistic Care. That means I work with patients to find ways to relieve the symptoms and stress of illnesses and find ways of maximizing quality of life. I also focus on the combination of physical wellbeing, mental wellbeing, and spiritual wellbeing. I have an interest in Urology, Trauma, Transgender Health, and Addiction Medicine. I value a safe and judgement-free environment. Outside of work, I enjoy time traveling with my wife and children, camping, bicycling, hiking, and playing basketball.
